After coming off of an unsuccessful 1-9 2015 season, the Galileo Varsity Football Team looks to come back with a more experienced and seasoned group of players. With a senior-heavy team, experience is a luxury that was not there last season. Senior players to look out for include; running back and all-city defensive end Kenneth Grady; defensive end and all-city tight end Miles Mainini; wide receiver and cornerback Donovan Hasson, middle linebacker and fullback Connor Chavela, and all-around talent, Demaje Ardis (QB/WR/LB/DB). Incoming players who will make an immediate impact; Adrian Poot (QB/LB), Jackie Guo (WR/LB), and senior transfer Tristan Anderson (TE/LB). Another notable key returning player is junior cornerback, Antonio Lewis.
The Galileo football program include 3 new non-league opponents; Hercules, San Lorenzo, and Piner (Santa Rosa).
[Galileo struggled through the spring sessions but managed to finish well-they finished with a 6-0 spring game won by the Purple Squad. Hasson garnered the Spring Game MVP honor with 2 interceptions and the lone score on a fly toss.]
Up next for the Lions:

- 70n7 sessions with Coach Black
