New Elected ASB Officers

ASB President: Jillian Lim

At Galileo, Jillian is a Captain on the Girl’s Tennis team, she also is a part of the Best Buddies and Acts of Random Kindness (ARK) Club. She is currently taking 3 AP classes which are AP Calculus BC, AP Language and Composition, and AP U.S. History.  Next year, she is planning to take AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP Statistics, and AP Computer Science A. Outside of Galileo, Jillian has a job as a lifeguard. Prior to her experience in office, she was a special events coordinator in middle school for two years and is currently the junior class President.


ASB Business Vice President: Sophia Mai

Sophia was previously the Sophomore Social Vice President and is part of BuildOn and Culinary Club. She is currently taking AP Biology with Mr. Chinn and is hoping to take AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP Environmental Science and AP Statistics next year. Outside of school, she is a barista at Starbucks and volunteers at the hospital. Sophia’s favorite sport is volleyball.


ASB Social Vice President: Erika Louie

Erika Louie is currently the ASB Commissioner of Activities and Rallies. She is also a competitive figure skater, a dancer (contemporary and ballet) and works as an ice skating instructor. On top of that, she is the Vice President of the Best Buddies Club, a member of the ARK Club, and a part of the Student Advisory Council (SAC). Erika is currently taking AP Language and Composition, AP Physics, and AP Chinese. Next year, Erika plans to take U.S. Government and Politics and AP Calculus AB.


ASB Treasurer: William Zhang

Currently the Junior Class Treasurer, William is also part of Cross Country, Track and Field, and Robotics. A few challenging courses he is taking right now are AP U.S. History, AP Computer Science Principles, and AP Physics. William is planning to take AP Calculus BC, AP Statistics, AP Computer Science A, and AP U.S. Government and Politics in his senior year.


ASB Corresponding Secretary: Christina Lam

Christina has been part of the class officer, Corresponding Secretary for 3 years. She is able to play the piano and is currently taking AP Biology. Next year, Christina will be taking AP Environmental Science, AP Calculus AB, and AP U.S. Government and Politics. Outside of Galileo, Christina takes piano lessons.


ASB Recording Secretary: Amy Li

Amy was priorly in office. Amy is also part of the junior pep-club and K-Pop Club. She is currently taking a few AP courses and is hoping to take AP Government and AP Calc AB next year. Outside of school Amy has passion for binge-watching Korean Dramas.



ASB Historian: Michelle He

Being part of student government for 3 years, Michelle is also a member of the junior pep club, K-Pop Club, Culinary Club, and Build on. She is currently taking AP U.S. History and AP Biology and is looking forward to taking AP Calculus AB and AP U.S. Government and Politics next year. In previous years,


ASB Commissioner of Activities and Rallies: Connie Sung

Connie is a member of the Girl’s Tennis team at Galileo as well as a member of the Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA). Currently she is taking AP Language and Composition and AP Biology, and hopes to take AP Environmental Science next year. Connie does not have experience in being an officer, but has taken on a leadership role as a Mayor’s Youth Employment and Education Program Counselor-In-Training (MYEEP CIT).


ASB SAC Representative: Hanen Su

Hanen is a rising junior this coming fall. He is part of the Public Education Enrichment Fund Community Advisory Committee (PEEFCAC) and is a after school program tutor. This year he is taking AP Chinese. He has served as the Recording Secretary both his freshman and sophomore year.



ASB Environmental Advocate: Peter Colias

Peter was appointed the new ASB position, Environmental Advocate. This year, he is enrolled in AP U.S. History and AP Biology and is planning to take AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Computer Science Principles and AP U.S. Government and Politics next school year. Peter was announced Male Athlete of the Year in 2018 as he excelled in cross country in the fall, wrestling in the winter, and track and field in the spring. Prior to his experience in office, he participated in a summer program as a teacher’s aide.
