Top 3 Most Unique Hall Passes

The traditional hall pass has been reimagined by some of the most creative teachers on campus. From humor to art, these passes reflect the personalities of the educators behind them, making a simple trip to the restroom or office a more memorable experience. Here are the top 3 most unique hall passes at Galileo.

1. Ms. Ung’s Toilet Seat Pass

When it comes to unforgettable hall passes, Ms. Ung’s takes the number one spot. Instead of a standard slip of paper or plastic card, students leaving her class carry a toilet seat. The white seat, marked with ” V. Ung” and room number 316, is held together with a rugged rope handle, giving it a truly unique look. Not only is it a hilarious sight in the hallways, but it also ensures no one forgets to return it!

Ms. Ung explained, “Students should know where they’re going and a toilet seat is perfect for that and it also can’t be stolen or lost”

2. Coach Mark’s Artistically Painted Wood Plank Pass

For students in Coach Mark’s class, leaving the room means carrying a hand-painted wooden plank that could be also seen as a piece of artwork. The pass features a muscular football player wearing a jersey labeled “HALL 452,” with bright colors and complex details that make it stand out. The bottom corner even credits the artists, “Three White Guys Moving Co.” This pass perfectly captures Coach Mark’s love for sports and creativity, making it both functional and visually striking.

“Our bathroom passes keep getting destroyed, so my TA’s decided to make a large hall pass which took them three weeks to make,” says Coach Mark.

3. Ms. Partridge Personalized Painted Plastic Pass

Ms. Partridge decided to take a more personalized approach with her hall pass, a hand-painted piece of plastic featuring a portrait of herself. The pass is small, portable, and uniquely designed, ensuring students won’t mix it up with any ordinary pass. Her artistic touch makes this hall pass a standout at Galileo High, giving students a miniature version of their teacher to carry with them through the halls.

“I made this because it looks like me and I wanted a unique hall pass so that it won’t get lost as easily and only certain students get to use it,” explained Ms. Partridge.
