Galileo’s new principal Dr. DeTrice Rodgers made a surprise appearance at the staff end-of-the-year party, hosted by the PTSA, in order to introduce herself and to meet all of Galileo’s staff. As staff members settled in for the anticipated party filled with food and company from other staff, Dr. Rodgers walked in with Mr. Panjabi and gave an introductory speech about her background and how excited she was to be part of the Galileo community. Even though it was her first time seeing everyone, most staff members welcomed her and sparked conversations with her.
“Thank you for the warm welcome, thank you for sharing your community with me and I look forward to new projects and community building with you all!”, says Principal Dr. DeTrice Rodgers.
