Poll: Student and Teacher Goals

Finals are coming up as the semester will be ending soon. Many students and teachers have set goals for themselves around this time in order to try and focus on what they need to do to end the semester strong. So we, at the Galileopress, went around and asked, “What are some goals that you would try to achieve before this last week of school, and how do you plan on achieving it?” 

-Frank Eldrin, 9th grade

“I want to have good grades because I want to make my parents happy. I also want to join a soccer club and those are my goals.I will probably practice almost every day to achieve this goal.”

-Lesly Isep, 10th grade

“I want to get a better grade in English and history. I also want to be able to turn in work in time. Maybe I will be able to do this if I take some more notes in class.”

-Tyler Warren, 10th grade

“I want to focus on my encouragement and confidence before this grading period. To be able to do this I’ll like to be more active and social with others on campus.

-Kevin dzib, 11th grade

“This grading period I want to be able to get a higher grade in History and also get better in the subject.To achieve my goals I will want to study daily for these weeks and get some more work done.”

-Hector Ayala, 11th grade

“Maintain a 2.0 or higher because I want to stay in the soccer team.Another goal is to win many games this soccer season.I will keep practicing with the team and play for the team to achieve this.

-Kaitlyn Lin 12th grade

” I want to maintain having all A’s in my grades and also finish more homework or any work I have left to do. I also want to be able to get more sleep.”

-Shawn Dilidili, 12th grade

I want to raise my grade in AP computer science. I also want to get to class earlier. To hopefully do this I’ll pay more attention class and get to class before the bell rings.”

“Help every student pass they’re finals because it is going to be difficult for some of them. I want to also get some more sleep. I want to complete my goals by keep on teaching students and making time for a busy schedule.”

-Ms.Peters, English Teacher

“A goal I have is to get more sleep because I mostly feel tired. Another goal is to be able to map out a lot of time to grade more papers. I’ll try to make more time and space for myself to complete my goals.”
