What do you like to do when you’re outside of school? Favorite hobbies?

I have two kids, one’s a 4th grader and one’s an 8th grader so I spend a fair amount of time with them. We love to travel and we love to swim. We also scuba dive.

What type of music genre do you like to listen to?

I think lot’s of different music. When I was young I listened to a lot of grunge music. My alternative music is your old folks music. I used to listen to Nirvana, but now Nirvana’s old.

Do you have any secret talents or skills?

I know the world’s greatest card trick. I used to play basketball, softball, diving, and competitive figure skating. 

What led you to this job?

I really adored Galileo. I think our kids are awesome. I think our location is awesome. I think our staff is awesome. I think our building is awesome. It’s a 100 year old building. 

What motivates you to work hard?

I work hard because I feel like everybody is doing the best they can to have the best life possible and I feel like I’m very lucky because for my work I get to help people do that. There’s saying that says If you do something you love you’ll never work a day in your life.

What do you like/love about your job?

I like my office, I like my teams, I like the school , I like the kids and families. I like the way we do our graduations.

What do you least like about your job?

Parking. Parking is hard here.

How would you describe your first year working here at Gal?

I feel like it’s been a roller coaster. I’ve really had fun. I love roller coasters. It’s fun and fast
