What do you like to do when you’re outside of school? Favorite hobbies?
I like to go on walks on the beach either to Crissy Field or Fort Mason

I listen to almost everything I don’t really have one favorite over another
Do you have any secret talents or skills?
Not that I can think of.
What led you to this job?
I used to work with young kids as a special ed teacher and I got tired of working with young kids under 5 so I wanted to get a change and work with middle school and now high school kids students. With high school students it’s nicer because they can have an interaction with you.
What motivates you to work hard?
I think being able to see how I can support the student and see how students are able to pass their classes after struggling a lot.
What do you like/love about your job?
I like getting to meet with students and seeing their background and their interest outside of school.
What do you least like about your job?
Probably the paperwork just because there’s not that interaction with students. And working behind the computer is not the most enjoyable but it’s needed.
