7 Days of Inspiration (Estefani Dujardin)

By Estefani Dujardin, staff writer

Inspiration is really important to me because it opens me up to new possibilities and helps me strive to be better, especially during the pandemic where I had a lot of pressure out on me. I decided to choose these photos because they are things that I value and use to be creative.

The image is of my flag football belongings and it inspires me to lean on other people and have support systems because sometimes you struggle when you’re on your own, but together you can accomplish anything.

The image is my favorite Star Wars collectibles. The kind of inspiration I get from Star Wars is to always have hope, be yourself, and always help those in need and it inspires me because I grew up watching Star Wars and it’s what connects me with my brother.

The image is of flowers I have around my house and the inspiration I get from them is that beautiful things can grow through hard circumstances, and  nature has always been something I like.

This image is of books that I’m reading that help me escape to my imagination during hard times because the characters in the books can be relatable.

The image is of the video games that I really enjoyed playing, and they inspired me to learn from my mistakes. When I couldn’t pass a level, instead of giving up, I realized the best way to get better at things is to keep on working.

This image of Pikachu inspires me because people look down on you because you’re young and childish, but you should always want to lead by example no matter what age you are and you should appreciate the little things that make you happy.

The image is of Brazilian cheese bread made by mom & it inspires me to learn more about myself and my culture because it gives me a sense of connection with my family and where I come from because family is important to me.
