Teachers not only help students learn new information but they can also teach them many life lessons to use in their daily lives, whether it’s now or in the future. During “Teacher Appreciation Week” the Galileo press asked students, “ What is something a teacher has taught you that you have gained an appreciation for?”

“My sophomore teacher Ms. Su has taught me about Geometry for volume, surface area, and 3D and I found that really helpful especially when designing blueprints for projects that are in 3D or creating the processes for my lion dance tournament.”

“Mr. Delgado has taught me more about mental health, since its a Ethnic Studies class, we’ve been talking about unfortunate communities and how they’ve been oppressed and how were repairing society and that can cause some sort of emotional damage so it was helpful to learn more about mental health.”
