What is your goal for the New Year and did you complete your goal from last year? If you didn’t, why didn’t you complete your goal? What helped you complete your goal? Does last year’s goal have to do with this New Year’s goal?
“My New Year was pretty uneventful because my kids got sick. My goal for this year is to read more of the books that I have at home. I have a lot of new, unread books that I want to start reading. For last year, I feel that I was able to somewhat accomplish my goals. I was able to be healthier by working out. I was actually already working out, I just try to work out more every year. COVID made it hard for me to go to the gym, so I just worked out at home. I also enjoyed doing my morning runs. My professional goal is to interact more with students because I mainly interact with adults the most. I also feel that I need to develop a stronger voice in order to be heard. One thing I learned during the course of 2021 was to ask more questions before arriving at a conclusion.”

“My New Year went very well. I got to spend time with my family. Last year, my goal was to spend more time with my friends and family. I feel that I was able to accomplish this. Another goal of mine from last year was to keep a positive attitude. Both of my goals were made a little bit more difficult to accomplish because of COVID. This year my goal is to keep my schedule structured in order to do everything efficiently. Another goal this year is to walk more in order to be more healthy.”

“Watching the movie Don’t look up with my family during New Years was something that I enjoyed. Every new year we watch a film together as a family. One of my goals this year is to get my nutrition certification and to have more of my players hit the weight room. Changing everyone’s perception of Galileo’s sports team is also a part of my plans. I usually don’t wait until a new year to start a goal, if I have something I need or want to do, I set out to do it immediately. One thing I learned from last year is to communicate, set boundaries/limitations and to be more goal oriented. I wish to spend my goal oriented attitude on more of the football players”.

“My New Year’s Resolution is to not take on many projects and spend more time with my family. Last year, I exceeded my financial goals. For New Years, I have a traditional New Year’s Eve where my family and I spend time together and have an annual breakfast with healthy food.”

“For the new year I am hoping that Covid-19 will die down or be over. Something I am looking forward to this year is to retire after 13 years of working. This year I didn’t do anything special this year, but spent time with my family.”
