Administration Assistants Winter Poll

By Larry Ma, Catherine Montoya, Jamie Deng and Juliana Ramirez

What did you do for winter break? Did you celebrate it this year with loved ones or did you spend it alone? Did you do anything special this year? What are some places you wish you would have visited over winter break?

“I went hiking all over the city with my friends. It was not a particularly difficult hike because I walk everyday. I also ‘Wined and Dined’ during my winter break. I usually visit family in Michigan, but because of COVID, I was unfortunately unable to do so. Next year, I want to be able to go to Michigan and go to Tahoe in order to go skiing.”

-Ms. Judie White

“I spent my winter break with my family, worked around the house, caught up on shows like Star Trek, and continued to take college courses in Business Law. We were supposed to travel, but some people got sick. If I were to go anywhere over winter break, I would’ve gone to the Dominican Republic because my dad’s side of the family is from there.”

-Ms Miranda

“Over winter break, I hung out with my family. I have two grandchildren so I went shopping with them and bought a MacBook for the older one. I’ve also gone to a party on December 26. I wished I would’ve visited Santa Cruz over winter break because the beach and the boardwalk are fun.”

-Ms. Grinnell

“For my winter break, I was fortunate enough to spend it with my friend, who came all the way from the state of Kansas. I was very excited to show them around San Francisco and see what they thought. One special thing about my winter break is that I was able to go to Los Angeles. I was able to go to a water park there. It was special because I had to stay overnight at the water park’s hotel, which is something that most water parks don’t do”.
