Science Teachers New Year Poll

By Shania Mejia, Kelly Trejo, Ethen Chan, and Andy Xie, staffwriters

What are you looking forward to in the New Year?

“I’m looking forward to having this classroom entirely taped. There’s so much in this room you have no idea, even figuring out what goes with what and what doesn’t work, that’s my challenge. So if I have the classroom entirely taped it’ll be much easier next year.” -Ms. Schwanes

“I’m hoping we can get to the point that we can get past Covid, folks get vaccinated, we don’t have to worry about getting sick, wearing masks, and seeing people’s faces. I don’t really have any resolutions except to kind of.. have fun. Just have fun.” – Mr. Okochi

“I’m looking forward to doing as many hands-on activities while also moving to hybrid learning. I’m actually really looking forward to it because I think it’ll help support my students a lot.” – Mr. Cadette

“Making it through. It’s already crazy enough. And I’m hoping we can kind of just finish the year in-school and do the normal in-school celebrations like graduation and awards and such.” -Ms. Sijstermans

“I’m looking forward to vacation.. Spring break. We’re going to the San Diego Zoo so that’s one thing I’m looking forward to. At school, I would say more hands-on stuff, more labs in each of my classes. Then outside, vacation and spring break.” – Mr. Biorn
