Lions stomp Pumas on senior night

Taking their last stand, the Galileo Lion senior football players hosted the Burton Pumas on November 11, and came away with their first win of the season, 32-0. The Lions, with their “senior squad” setup, an offense of all seniors, led the team to their blowout victory. Senior fullback, Wilson L., said, ”It’s kind of sad that everything is coming to an end, but I’m grateful to have been a part of this program and for the people, I’ve met along the way. Of course, we’ve been having a few rough seasons but I wanted to leave it off on a win before I pass the torch onto my underclassmen.”
