While there was no official game because of the forfeit, the program still decided to hold an intrasquad game. Everyone in the program, JV and Varsity, was split into two teams and played against each other. This turned out to be a close and intense game with the final score being 47-43.

Seniors still were able to enjoy their night as they took photos with their gifts and posters, nicely made by their teammates, friends, and families. What could have been a disappointing night ended up being a fun time that night. Senior guard, Kaylee Ong says, “The intersquad scrimmage was a fun way to make up for Marshall’s forfeit. It was lighthearted because we were playing against our own teammates.”

The Galileo Girls Varsity Basketball team will play their playoff game on February 16 against the Washington Eagles at 4:30 at Washington.
