Galileo is making changes to the schedule next year. The district is no longer allowing two early release days, so the schedule will have to reflect only one early release day. The Galileo Press showed some of the options to students and here’s what they had to say.
“I like option E, because it’s like out normal schedule, and out of the rest, it’s the same as other school’s schedules.” – Evelyn Y. Junior
“I prefer option B, because it has advisory. I dislike option D the most because of the longer periods, it also doesn’t look as amusing as the rest.” Kevin N. Junior
“We both like option B, because we would have advisory. And we dislike option A, it’s too confusing.” Bosco T. and Johnny Y., Juniors
“I like option D more because it’s least confusing, and I dislike option C, because I don’t want every class to be long everyday.” – Quinn L. Freshman
“I like option C because it makes the most sense to me, unlike option A which is very confusing and it would be hard to memorize which days have which class.” Celina L. Junior
“Respectfully, they all suck. But I like option B because it’s the same thing as now but we have advisory with 6 mins passing.” – Vince G. Junior
“I like option D because it has no block days. For me, block days are often stressful and overwhelming. We have 2 hours of the same class, and most of the time students get bored with the material, or the lack of material we get.” – Jayci P. Freshmen
“I prefer options C and E because for me personally, it’s a little more relaxed and more focused on each class with the amount of time we are given. Options B and A are too hectic and the times are all random, it throws off people.” – Hannah J. Sophomore
